Nakonechnyi A. Expropriation of land plots under the laws of Ukraine.

This thesis is devoted to the complex research of theoretical and practical aspects of compulsory expropriation of land plots. The author gives the definition of institute of land expropriation, identifying its main features and peculiarities. This thesis examines the historical development of legislation and the scientific views on the compulsory acquisition of land. The classification of the object and subject composition of legal relationships of land expropriation has been offered. The legal mechanism of land expropriation has been considered in detail. The form and the content of the decisions taken by state and local governments in the process of land expropriation have been analyzed. The court practice in disputes regarding the compulsory expropriation of land plots also has been analyzed. On the basis of conducted research the author revealed the characteristic trends of Ukrainian legislation and enforcement activities in the field of compulsory acquisition of land.
