Moroz A. The technical potential of hydropower resources of small rivers Ukraine

Object of research: the processes of transformation of hydropower resources of small rivers into electricity. Purpose of work: development and improvement of methods for calculating the hydropower potential of the river under restrictions on the use of water flow and determining the technical potential of hydropower resources of small rivers in Ukraine under the current regulatory framework in the electricity and environmental spheres. Methods of research: the theoretical basis of hydropower, probability theory and mathematical statistics, numerical methods of cartography. Theoretical and practical results. Innovations: developed mathematical model and method of analytical determination of the technical capacity of the hydropower resources of small rivers in Ukraine under the current regulatory framework in the energy and environmental sectors. Subject and the degree of implementation: the results were used at performance of scientific research works of the State agency for energy efficiency and energy saving of Ukraine, and its state-owned enterprises. Implementation efficiency: the state - developed of the modern concept of regional development programs of small hydropower and realization of National action plan to renewable energy. Utilization field: scientists, developers, investors and public authorities, which take part in the development of the Ukrainian small hydropower.
