Ieremenchuk I. Clinical and immunological peculiarities of multidrug-resistant pulmonary tuberculosis in newly diagnosed patients, effectiveness and optimization of treatment

Subject of the study: multidrug-resistant (MDR) tuberculosis of the lungs; objective - increasing of efficacy of treatment of patients with MDR TB of the lungs by means of improvement of pathogenic treatment on the basis of detected peculiarities of indices of endogenic intoxication, cytokine and apoptotic regulation directed to the corrrection of the changes found; methods of the study - clinical, biochemical, radiographic, microbiological, immunoenzymatic, instrumental, statistical; the novelty - the dynamic peculiarities of the indices of endogenic intoxication, cytokine regulation, the content of nitrogen monoxide, apoptotic activity of different types of the lung parenchyma cells are detected in patients with MDR TB of the lugs; reasonability of administration of arginine glutamate and arginine hydrochloride in a comprehensive treatment during the intensive phase of chemotherapy of MDR TB of the lungs is substantiated promoting the improvement of the criteria to evaluate the efficacy of treatment.
