Essay

The thesis is dedicated to the problem of increasing the treatment efficiency of the patients with Meniere disease on the base of scientific substantiation of complex therapy using the pneumomassage of window labyrinthine, prolonged tympanostomy and kinesitherapy. On the ground of comparative results of clinical, psychoacoustic, vestibular, sociological study of patients with Meniere disease is solved an actual scientific and practical problem: substances advantage of complex therapy of Meniere disease over the drug treatment. 90 patients with Meniere disease were studied depending of different methods of treatment: drug treatment, complex, complex with prolonged tympanostomy. Estimated results of treatment efficiency in different terms: early (in 3 months) and late follow up (in 12-18 months) were evaluated. Comparing results of drug therapy and complex treatment revealed that in early terms clinical, audiological, vestibular and sociological data shown reliable effectiveness of all type of treatment. But the most pronounced performance indicators identified in patients after complex therapy with prolonged tympanostomy. The late follow up results of conducted treatment of patients with Meniere disease were studied. After drug therapy the significant aggravation of indicators of clinical performance, hearing, vestibular function and aggravation of quality life of patients was noted almost to the output level (level before treatment). At the same time, after complex therapy these indicators remain significantly high in comparing with level before treatment. This is especially concern of complex therapy with prolonged tympanostomy. Justified and implemented into clinical practice effective complex method of treatment of Meniere disease.
