The object of study: the formation and development of innovative processes in the field of horticulture. Objective: To develop theoretical-methodological and practical bases of formation and development of innovative processes in the field of horticulture. Methods: logical and dialectical, statistical, analysis and synthesis, expert assessments, group, least squares, simulation, abstract and logical. Scientific novelty: first proposed determination of the coefficient seed quality; improved the essence of the concept of "innovation process" methodological approaches to evaluating the effectiveness of certain types of innovation, the essence of the concept of "organizational and economic mechanism" in relation to innovation processes, organizational and economic mechanism of development of innovative processes in crop modeling approach to agricultural counseling; received further classification of innovation processes in plant and methodological approaches to evaluating the effectiveness of innovation processes in the plant, creating study selection and seed cluster, conceptual approach to the management of innovation processes.
