Essay

The thesis presents the results of the complex study of optical and structural properties of the semiconductor compounds of Cu2ZnSnS4-type. The influence of fabrication conditions and subsequent thermal treatments on the structural and optical properties of CZTS-type compounds is studied. The Raman Scattering polarization measurements were carried out for Cu2CdGeS4 and Cu2CdSiS4 crystals with wurtz-stannite structure and all the Raman-active modes observed were assigned to certain types of phonon vibrations.
