Shakirova A. Administrative and legal status of trade unions in Ukraine

The thesis is devoted to complex research and system of administrative and legal status of trade unions of Ukraine. The paper suggests improving the notion of a trade union as a voluntary non-profit public association, which is formed in the form of public organization uniting citizens bound by common interests by virtue of their professional (labor) training to meet and protect their legal, social, economic and other interests through the implementation of these rights and freedoms enshrined in the Constitution of Ukraine and other legal acts. The thesis contains a number of theoretical principles and practical recommendations made as a result of a comprehensive study of administrative and legal status of trade unions in Ukraine. Background of the establishing of trade unions and dynamics of their functions and means of achieving the goals and targets are set out in the relevant trade unions historical stages. At the same time it is stated that the definition of administrative and legal status of trade unions is an important and urgent task. Author 's definition of "administrative and legal status of trade unions" as the legal position of trade unions, which is reflected in the existence and implementation of subjective rights and legal duties , guarantees and responsibility in relations with public administration and is adjusted by administrative law.
