Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the preparation of new spin crossover nanoobjects and nanocomposites, investigation of their size, morphology, spin crossover behaviour and mechanisms of luminescence properties change under the spin switching process. For the core-shell composites with grafted gold nanoparticles, higher efficiency of the spin state switching due to the plasmonic photo-thermal effect was demonstrated. The elaboration of fluorescent spin-crossover composites with quantum dots, organic molecules or rare earth complexes (terbium) as fluorophore was described.
