Pryshliak N. Efficiency of Biofuel Production at the Enterprises of Sugar-Beet Industry

This research focuses on the efficiency of biofuel production at the sugar-beet industry enterprises. Theoretical foundations, methods and factors of efficiency improvement of the sugar-beet industry enterprises are justified. It has been found that obtaining of a full complex of such effects as economic, social, environmental and energetic is a key factor for the introduction of the efficient production and consumption of biofuels. Socio-economic need and importance of production and consumption of biofuels in Ukraine are defined. Features and dynamics of bioethanol production in the world are analyzed. Reasons for the low efficiency of sugar-beet enterprises are defined. The efficiency of biofuels production from intermediate products of sugar-beet processing at the sugar-beet enterprises is investigated. It has been substantiated that sugar-beets are efficient for biofuel production in Ukraine. Foreign experience of legal regulation of bioenergy development has been studied and methods of improvement of legislation for the production and consumption of biofuels in Ukraine are offered. Cluster model of biofuel production is formed. The economic efficiency of bioethanol production at the sugar-beet enterprises in Vinnytsia region has been calculated.
