Essay

In PhD thesis we established exact-order estimates of approximations by Fourier sums, best approximations and best orthogonal trigonometric approximations of classes of (psi, beta)-differentiable functions, in case when psi decreases to zero not faster than some power function or in the case, when psi decreases to zero faster than any power function. Also we established order estimates of best m -term trigonometric approximations of classes of Stepanets, in the case when sequences psi decrease to zero not slower than geometric progression.
