Essay

This research focuses on the structure and percolation properties of liquid nanocomposites, filled with multiwalled nanotubes. It was shown that the value of percolation threshold for nanofluids is strongly dependent on the geometry of the cell and the degree of aggregation. The presence of laponite or surface functionalization of nanotubes leads to homogenization of the distribution of nanoparticles in the system, but it is also leads to a decrease in conductivity of samples. Adding nanotubes to the polymer matrix has a significant impact on the degree of crystallinity of nanocomposites.
