Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the establishment and development of musical and theatrical journalism in Lviv at the end of the 18th - the first third of the 20th century based on the urban press of that times. The basic problem-thematic vectors of musically-theatrical journalism that is examined in the wide context of the phenomena of opera and musically-theatrical culture. The features of Lviv's music and theater journalism are certain, the stages of its formation and development are traced. The most popular in the municipal press genres are illuminated and analyzed: a review, theater feuilleton, creative portrait, critical article-result of season.
