Essay

Object of study - fatigue fracture of steel at conditions of cyclic transverse shear. The aim of study - to develop a method of fatigue crack growth resistance evaluation of structural steels under cyclic transverse shear, based on the cyclic crack growth resistance characteristics determination. A new method of cyclic crack growth resistance evaluation, using the fatigue crack growth rates curves of steels at the transverse shear is developed. This method is the basis of standard ДСТУ 8601:2015. The cyclic crack growth resistance characteristics of 65Г steel under transverse shear is determined.
