This dissertation presents the results of complex clinical and epidemiological research, bacteriological research, the dynamics of indicators of the degree of endotoxemia and disorders of the immune homeostasis of 184 infants with acute intestinal klebsielosis. On the basis of improved paraclinical criteria, confirmed the etiological involvement of K. pneumoniae in acute diarrheal disease in infants, and proved the effectiveness of their treatment in the complex of the silicon dioxide.
