Essay

The thesis is devoted to the synthesis of amphiphilic oligomeric surfactants of di- and triblocks structure that represent diesters of piromellitic acid through piromellitic dianhidryde acylation of one- or diatomic alcohols. The proposed approach during synthesis allowed to adjust the nature and lenght of the lipophilic moieties and hydrophilic polyoxyethylene chains, HLB, CMC, micelles and the micellar aggregates structure and their solubilization capacity.
