Essay

The study involved 117 patients with CHC. Established incidence of IR in patients with CHC, determined dependence of frequency of IP detection from disease duration, viral load and severity of liver fibrosis in patients infected with HCV genotype 1 and 2/3. Traced the connection between HCV-infection of different genotypes with the development of IR. For the first time the complex study of clinical-laboratory and instrumental data in patients with CHC on a background IP was held.Evaluated the effectiveness of drug (metformin prscription) and non-drug (lifestyle modification) IR correction methods in patients with chronic hepatitis C and determined their impact on the AVT (PEG-IFN and ribavirin).
