Vovk O. V. N. Karazin (1773-1842) in the historical and biographical narratives

Research object is the massif of publications of the mid 19th - beginning the 21st centuries about the life history of V. N. Karazin and dedicated to him commemorative practices. The purpose of the thesis is scientific reconstruction of process study V. N. Karazin's biography and research historiographical images of this person which were formed in specific cultural and historical conditions. Used methods are analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, historical-genetic, historical-comparative, historical-typological, diachronical, synchronical, statistical. The bibliographical list of researches about V. N. Karazin's life and work which still not mentioned in special signs and resumptive publications were expanded and updated; the authorial classification and typological scheme for analyzing of biographical publications was constructed; the periodization of history of the study V. N. Karazin's biography was developed, all of its stages were analyzed; historiographical images of this person were characterized, their causes and evolutionary trends were explored. Usage: educational process.
