Essay

Object of research - last stages blades of powerful steam turbines. Objective - turbines' last stages efficiency encrease by means of working blades design and reliability improvement. Research methods - Integral equations and numerical methods are used in implementation of engineering theory of twisted rods which is applyed to the proposed construction of blades with handed bandages. Finite element analysis is applied for blade elements' stress strain state investigation. Theoretical and practical effects - design improvement recommendations for steam turbines' last stages rotor blades developed in scope of current thesis can be used in the creation of new and modernization of existing thermal and nuclear turbines. Novelty - for the first time proposed the original last stage rotor blade construction with two-tiered shelf retaining ties. Mathematical model of the stress strain state of such a structure is developed. Picture of local stresses in transition zones of the blade is received with basis of complex computational research. Degree of implementation - the results are used at PJSC "Turboatom" for designing new rotor blades of powerful steam turbines. Area of application - turbine construction
