The thesis is devoted to scientific and practical task of improvement theoretical basis, development the scientific and methodical approaches and practical recommendations to advance the risk management of investment projects of energy enterprise. The economic essence and impact of risk on the company are investigated. The genesis of risks in the implementation of investment projects is reveals. Methodical approaches to the identification, analysis, assessment of risks in order to develop management measures are proposed and justified. The specificity of risks of investment projects of energy enterprise is detected. An identification and structural and logical analysis of the risks of investment projects of energy enterprise are conducted. The evaluation of identified risks of investment projects of energy enterprise is done. Conceptual provisions for the formation a strategy risk management of investment projects are profound. The scientific principles for implementing risk management of investment projects of energy enterprise in the context of Ukraine's Energy Strategy 2030 are developed. The effectiveness of risk management of investment projects of energy enterprise and the ways of its further improvements are reviewed. Improved theoretical principles of science about the risks in the genesis of the risk that, in addition to the traditional components of risk (risk-forming factors, risk situation, risk consequences) supplemented prerequisites of risks and reveal their causal relationships. Proposed a conceptual provisions on the strategy formation of risk management of energy enterprise that, unlike the existing, revealing the connection between strategic, tactical and operational levels of risk management of investment projects and tools for their minimization within the risk appetite of the company. Received further development conceptual framework of the theory of risk management in terms of the concept of "risk management of investment project", in contrast to the existing based on prognostic approach is management at all stages of the risk of the project. Proposed scientific and methodological provision implementing investment projects of energy enterprise that, unlike the existing ones, using a combination of situational, process and system approaches for prediction of risk situations with the formation of an appropriate set of measures aimed at avoidance and / or minimization. Is carried out grouping of risks of investment project of energy enterprise that, unlike known, involves the distribution of types of risk according to the stages of the life cycle of investment project and is the basis for the development of risk maps and register. The scientific and methodological provisions for evaluating the effectiveness of risk management are developed, which differs from the standards of the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations Tredveya (COSO) and ISO 31000: 2009 takes into consideration the specific objectives of investment projects (reconstruction and modernization, service life extension and construction of new energy facilities) and detailed indicators, taking into account the peculiarities of power plants.
