Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the study of the genre traditions of French lyric opera. Scientific provisions and supervision which concern opеra lirique in musicological literature are generalized. Fifteen French lyrical operas written by Ch. Gounod, A. Thomas, G. Bіzet, J. Massenet, L. Delіbes, C. Debussy are analyzed. From methodological positions of a modern librettologiya (G. Ganzburg term) stereotypic views about ideological level to the French lyrical opera are reconsidered.
