Essay

This thesis is devoted to the study of complexation in binary solutions of liquids by vibrational spectroscopy. A novel method for determining the number of complexes by analyzing the residual intensity in vibrational spectra is proposed. Spectral regions with the highest expression of complexation were analyzed by chemometric technique MCR-ALS. The concentration of complexes was determined for the first time by applying MCR-ALS analysis for vibrational spectra of acetone-chloroform, diethyl ether-chloroform and methanol-chloroform solutions.
