Essay

The thesis presents the results of evaluation of impact of sugar beet production for different farming systems and systems of the major soil cultivation during crop rotation on the main key indicators of restoring soil fertility, productivity and the quality of the root crops in conditions of the Right-bank-forest-steppe Ukraine. Economic and energy efficiency rating of cultivation of sugar beet depending on soil cultivation systems and systems of the soil cultivation during crop rotation have been described. It has been recommended to apply flange - non-flange major soil cultivation during crop rotation within the system of ecological agriculture after fall wheat concerning arable land on 28-30 cm with preliminary disking on 6-8 cm, which on the ground of ecologically based application of fertilizers and pesticides provides crop capacity of sugar beet root, adequate to bioclimatic potential.
