The object of the study are the formation processes and functioning of the financial and economic mechanism of ensuring the competitiveness of agricultural enterprises.The purpose of the study is to deepen the theoretical foundations and development of practical recommendations on the formation of financial and economic mechanism of ensuring the competitiveness of agricultural enterprises.The study uses the following scientific modes and methods: abstract-logical, statistical-economic, monographic, calculated-constructive and comparison, correlational-regressive, other conventional statistical methods.The interpretation of enterprise competitiveness as a certain hierarchical consecutive process, determining the level of enterprise economic condition, direction of its innovative development, which, unlike the existing one, reflects the dialectical and dualistic nature of enterprise competitiveness, points on the close connection between its various levels and detail the sphere of implementation has been firstly proved.
