Essay

The thesis for the degree of Candidate of Technical Science with a specialization 05.17.11. - technology of refractory nonmetallic materials, - SHEI "Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology". - Dnipropetrovs'k, 2015. The thesis is intended to establish dependences of optic and color characteristics of enamel coatings on composition of glass base as well as development of mildly fluoric and fluoric-free bright coloring and white anticorrosive enamel coatings with reduced firing temperature for products of household and domestic purposes. It is grounded that the ratio of main components of borsyl system, mol.%: Na2O - 19,3; B2O3 - 12,4; SiO2 - 51,3, is optimal to obtain fluoric-free low temperature bright coloring enamels; also it is established the following limit of the ratio of other components, mol.%: ТіО2 - 5,25-8,5; Р2О5 - 2,0-3,63; Al2O3 - 2,0-5,25; СаО - 2,0-5,25. It is experimentally determined that the introduction of modificating additions Fe2O3 and MnO2 in small amount (0,4 mol.%), in the ratio of 1 : 1, into the composition of fluoric-free enamel contributes to improvement of high fusibility and discoloring of frit as well as uprating of optic and color characteristics of color glass coatings. According to research carried out there qualitative fusible fluoric-free enamels for pigment method of coloring of different colors range were obtained. It is established that to obtain white titanium enamels it is necessary to use triad of alkaline oxides Na2O, K2O, Li2O, as well as alkaline-earth ones ВаО, MgO. It is experimentally proved that for regulation of the separating process of anatase form of titanium dioxide in viscosity interval of coatings firing, fusible mildly fluoric frit should contain the additional quantity of potassium oxide. It is found that the introduction of modificating addition of zirconium dioxide leads to damping growth of enamel coatings. The developed fluoric-free bright color and mildly fluoric white enamels with reduced firing temperature were successfully tested in industrial environments in "Novomoskovs'k ware" LLC and are recommended for implementation in production.
