Bak H. Technological resources of transnational corporations as a source of innovation and investment to modernize the economy of Ukraine

Object of study: to attract transnational enterprises' technological resources as a tool to accelerate recipient country's economy modernization process. The aim of the thesis is substantiation of theoretical, methodological and applied principles of assessing the impact of foreign multinationals' technological resources as a source of enhancement Ukraine's economy innovation and investment processes in the context of international technology transfer and defining the fundamental conditions which the state must provide to successfully attract foreign technology. Research methods. The following methods have been applied in the research: logical and dialectic; systemic; comparative; statistical; analytic and synthetic; graphic. Theoretical and practical value of the results is that the main provisions and conclusions of the thesis can be applied to solve problems associated with estimation of channels to attract TNCs' technology in the processes of capital accumulation and the creation of added value in processing industries. The thesis proposed a new solution of scientific and applied problems: study of theoretical, methodological and applied principles of assessing the impact of TNCs' technological resources as a source of innovation and investment to modernize the economy of Ukraine and recommendations to increase the effect of attracting foreign technology in national development plans. The work has been introduced in the practice of the Institute of Legislation of the Supreme Council of Ukraine, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The survey results used in Ternopil Regional State Administration Foreign Relations Management Department, Foreign Trade and Investment Department, in "Arterium" Corporation Department of Innovation, and used in the educational process in Ternopil National Economic University and Ternopil Institute of Interregional Academy of Personnel Management.
