Domashova L. Assessing the effect of genetic factors on the reproductive traits of Large White sows in the age dynamics

The thesis presents the results of assessing the effect of genetic factors (the origin, the estrogen receptor and properdin genotypes) on the reproductive traits of Large White sows in the age dynamics. It was determined degree of influence age of sows on their reproduction traits and level of determinism. The results of the dynamics and intensity of preservation culling sows for their commercial use has been received and it was determined its optimal duration. The degree of impact origin sows to the level of their reproductive traits was evaluated. The genetic structure of groups of sows of different age and origin based on estrogen receptor and properdin genotypes have been identified and influence the manifestation of polymorphism on the level reproductive traits was analyzed.
