Song Y. Integration of European singing traditions into the vocal school of China

Dissertation is devoted to the complex research of professional vocal education evolution stages in China in 20th and early 21st, taking into account Russian, Belorussian and Ukrainian singers activity. An investigation Russian, Belorussian and Ukrainian singers activity in the first half of 20th makes it possible to understand the ways of penetration of European singing traditions into the process of Chinese modern vocal school forming. On the base of published in Beijing dairies of V. Shushlin and memories of his famous student Shen Sjang it was investigated the pedagogical activity of Shushlin in China and researched his principles of active-passive breath, on which a lot of world famous Chinese singers were educated, among them Zhou Xiaoyan, Shen Sjang, Lang Yuxiu, Go Shuzhen and others.
