Kalashnik O. The legal status of local general courts in Ukraine

The dissertation is the first in Ukraine monographs, which investigated the legal status of local general courts. The issue of role of local general courts of general jurisdiction was investigated, the process of their formation and development was analyzed. Investigation is devoted for study of the goals and objectives of local general courts, their functions, the order of creation and development, as well as the specifics of their implementation of certain principles of the judicial system in their organization. Special attention is paid to the improvement of local general jurisdiction courts, the procedure of appointment of judges to administrative positions, rights and duties of judges, the legal regulation of the court staff.
