The thesis is the first scholarly study within Ukrainian religious studies that on a basis of the system-analytical approach reveals the characteristics of Ukrainian Protestant narrative theology and specifics of the use of the narrative sources in the discourse of modern Ukrainian Protestantism. The thesis states that the concept of the partnership of church and society in the modern Ukrainian Protestant theology is a part of the liberal theology of liberation, which has a narrative nature and promotes essential values of European and Ukrainian Christianity.
