The concept of organized crime as the object of administrative and legal counteraction and mechanism of the latter have been characterized. The range and features of administrative and legal relations arising while combating organized crime in Ukraine have been defined. The state of legal regulation of combating organized crime in Ukraine and the place of administrative legislation have been found out.
