Pariy V. Differential diagnosis and pathogenesis-directed treatment of pathological conditions caused by the use of metal dentures.

The dissertation is dedicated to improving the treatment and preventing the complications of clinical manifestations in patients with pathological conditions resulting from the use of metal dentures, by improving the methods of differential diagnosis and etio-pathogenetical treatment. By means of the modern diagnostic complex BioPack III and Teskan (USA) performed a functional analysis of the masticatory system was carried out in patients with pathological conditions caused by the use MDP on the basis of which the breach was revealed that can deepen the course of these symptoms and the factors were determined that can be the basis for planning the preventive dental help. As a result of the clinical and psychological examination the interconnection between the intensity of clinical manifestations and severity of psychological changes was revealed. The trace element analysis of the patients' oral fluids, oral mucosa and hair allowed to find a correlation between these indicators and EEC MDP. As a result of the pilot study data was obtained on the effectiveness of methods of removing metal ions from the oral cavity. The point is in non-invasive and affordable for patients electrophoresis method with unitiol solution which is an antidote to metal ions that are part of the dental alloys.
