Essay

The thesis is devoted to the issue of improving surgical treatment efficiency for patients with generalized periodontitis by using osteoplastic bioceramic composite doped with ions of silver and copper combined with osteotropic action preparation obtained by experimental and clinical substantiation of its application during guided tissue regeneration technique. On the basis of physical-chemical, microbiological and cytotoxicological laboratory studies has been examined the composition of bioactive ceramic composite and has been provided definition of optimal concentration of ions of silver and copper in its composition. Experimental biochemical and histological laboratory animal investigations have proved bone stimulating action such as doped bioceramics combined with glycosaminoglycan's preparation. The results of the clinical studies have demonstrated high effectiveness of modified domestic bioceramics in surgical treatment by guided tissue regeneration in the early stages and long term that does not yield treatment results to heterogeneous bone graft materials.
