Essay

The Thesis is devoted to the solving of actual and great practical importance scientific problem to reduce energy consumption and improve the quality of coal charge preparing for coking on the basis of dependencies which establish connection between design, regime and technological parameters of the "screen-crusher" system. As a result of the theoretical research, analytical expressions of energy consumption for crushing were established which consider granulometric composition of the processed material and the resistance of the dusty environment that allows to predict the efficiency and optimize the performance of a hammer mill, as well as an analytical relations that to establish interrelation of the power consumption of mill's drive to efficiency of elimination of ready coal charge grade before crushing, that allow to choose the rational design and technological parameters of the "screen-crusher" system at crushing and screening sites. To determine effectiveness of screening of the ready grade 0-3 mm before crushing, the mathematical model of the process of screening on steeply inclined vibrating screen surface was established. The experimental and industrial researches has allowed to execute a comparative assessment of the received results with the conclusions of theoretical researches and to choose rational specifications of the "screen-crusher" system on its basis, as well as to develop and to introduce into production steeply inclined vibrating screen for screening of the ready grade's 0-3 mm before crushing.
