The Thesis is devoted to solving of actual scientific task, that consists in development and elaboration of the portal multi-rotor mixer for preparation of iron-containing waste to the sintering, on the basis of establishment of regularities that describe the influence of its structural and regime parameters on the quality of mixture of ferrous cinder and peat, taking into account its physical and mechanical properties. Thus, for the portal multi-rotor mixer of continuous action with the shoulder-blades of rotor that are parallel and revolved contrary and evenly, the mathematical model was established that describes the influence of structural and regime parame-ters on the motion of material particles of in a quasi-viscous medium. Analytical relations, which allow to calculate productivity, power expenses and wear of working body of mixer and necessary for the designing are determined. On the basis of experimental laboratory researches regression equations are got, that set connection between the technological indexes of portal multi-rotor mixer of continuous action and its structural and kinematics parameters. Results of work represented as two methods are implemented in the profile institute and the scientific and production enterprise, that are engaged in elaboration and production of metallurgical equipment. The pilot prototype of portal multi-rotor mixer is made, explored and is exploiting for mixing of oily ferrous cinder and peat.
