The results of the research on the essence of resources, resource potential, special features of resource potential formation and the use of this potential at agricultural enterprises have been presented. The methodology for determining the resource potential capacity has been developed and its efficiency has been studied. The dynamics of agricultural enterprises resource potential regarding its basic elements has been analyzed. The efficiency of the agricultural enterprises resource potential of Lviv region has been evaluated. The factors influencing its level have been identified and systematized. The proposals to improve the agricultural enterprises resource potential structure on the basis of increasing the level of investment attractiveness and enhancing the state support have been made. The strategic management for implementation of this process has been grounded.
