Plakhuta V. Сondition of the immune system, mineral metabolism and microbiocenosis of colon in infants with obstructive bronchitis with thymomegaly.

Dissertation is devoted to improving of the efficiency of the treatment of infants with acute obstructive bronchitis and thymomegaly, based on the study of the state of cellular and humoral immune system, mineral metabolism, qualitative and quantitative composition of intestinal microflora. The imbalance of cellular, humoral and phagocytic immunity, interleukins and macro- and microelements content in blood serum, hormonal homeostasis, the state of the colon microflora in infants with acute obstructive bronchitis and thymomegaly were established. In case of detection of quantitative and qualitative condition changes of the colon microflora in infants with acute obstructive bronchitis and thymomegaly it is recommended use in treatment synbiotic, that contains live Bifidobacterium BB-12® bacterial and oligosaccharide, for children from 1 month to 3 years old for 1sashe a day for 4 weeks.
