Object - cataract at chronic anterior at uveitis. Objective: to improve the of cataract surgery chronic anterior uveitis in children. Methods: ophthalmologic, clinical, immunological, electron microscopy, statistics; biomicroscope, ophthalmoscope, tonometr, ultrasound scan. Supplemented by scientific data about the presence of children with complicated cataract on the background of chronic anterior uveitis, along with characteristic clinical signs of ocular anterior segment, signs of lesions of median structures of the eye. Supplemented by scientific data about the presence of children with cataracts on a background of chronic anterior uveitis disturbances of the immune status, which is reflected in changes of cellular and humoral immunity, as well as raising the level of autosensibilization to eye tissues. For the first time it was revealed the presence of characteristic of complicated cataract uveal ultrastructural changes pupillary membrane cells and anterior lens capsule, the degree of which increases with the duration and the nature of the disease, and also revealed the ability of these cells to transform and produce the modified capsular collagen. A new method of surgical treatment of complicated uveal cataract in children, thus avoiding the development of severe intra- and postoperative complications. A new method of reducing the inflammatory response in the surgical treatment of cataract, complicated with uveal in children, allowing for a long time to maintain the therapeutic effect of corticosteroids, exclude the application of the system and to avoid hormone therapy in the early postoperative period of severe intra- and postoperative complications. The results of the thesis are introduced at SI "The Filatov Institute of Eye Diseases and Tissue Therapy of the NAMS of Ukraine" and the Center for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Eye Microsurgery of the National Children's Specialized Hospital "OKHMATDET" Ukrainian Ministry of Health.
