Grygoryan A. Clinically-psychopathological features and approaches to therapy of resistant form of affective disorders in patients with substance dependence

The thesis on the analysis of clinical-psychopathological and pathopsychological characteristics of resistant form of affective disorders (AfD) in patients with dependence from psychoactive substances (PAS) revealed and systematized their clinical types, psy-chopathogenetic mechanisms (PgM), developed differentiated approaches to their complex therapy, the program of psychotherapy, including against application ECТ, as well as iden-tified and analyzed variants of the reduction of pathological affective and other psycho-pathological semiotics during the therapy. Identified and analyzed variants of the reduction of pathological affective and other psychopathological semiotics of patients with dependence from PAS in the course of therapy: incisive, cumulative-progressive, latent. The principles and approaches to the treatment of AfD in patients with dependence from PAS are basing on: complexity; differentiation; combination of biological methods, pharmacological treatment and psychotherapy; synergic interaction of used methods. Formulated principles of psychotherapy of AfD in patients with dependence from PAS: preliminary determination of psychophenomenological status, complexity, congruence, synergic interaction, sequence, phasing. Developed program of psychotherapy, consists of 5 stages: cognitive-perceivable, compliance-forming, stabilizing, reshaped, maintenance.
