Essay

An examination of 106 infants with obstructive bronchitis (OB) was conducted. Among these infants 73 patients constituting the main group had comorbid condition - a syndrome of nervous system impairment due to perinatal lesions of the central nervous system (PLCNS), while 33 infants were without neurological disorders (control group). Ozonotherapy was additionally used during the treatment of 20 infants from the main group. In order to create a mathematical model of the bronchial asthma (BA) prognosis 87 infants (82%) were examined again at the age of 3 to verify the BA diagnosis. The "fuzzy logic" method together with Fuzzy Clustering and Data Analysis Toolbox program set of the MATLAB package were used to create the model. The credible risk factors of PLCNS development as well as the main neurological syndromes in infants with PLCNS were determined. Moreover, the clinical and paraclinical peculiarities of OB in infants with a background of neurological disorders due to PLCNS were described. In addition, the effectiveness of ozonotherapy in the treatment of infants with OB as well as the impact of ozone on the normalization of the phagocytosis, IgA, IgM, interleikine-4 and interleikine-8 figures in earlier terms were proved. A mathematical model of the BA prognosis was created, which allows to objectify the selection of children to conduct measures regarding the primary prevention of BA.
