Essay

The thesis is devoted to the optimization of treatment and prevention of cardiovascular diseases among patients with arterial hypertension comorbid with thyrotoxicosis. There were studied the character of arterial hypertension comorbid with thyrotoxicosis, linear velocity of blood flow and volume flow in the cerebral arteries, the structural and functional changes in the heart and their impact on quality of life. It was found that arterial hypertension impacts on clinical course of thyrotoxicosis, leads to quality of life decreasing and increasing of daily profile of blood pressure and hypertensive period. On the basis of the pathogenic mechanisms of arterial hypertension comorbid with thyrotoxicosis and pathomorphological changes of the thyroid, the clinical approaches to patients were developed. There were shown the effectiveness of quercetin in the complex therapy of arterial hypertension and thyrotoxicosis for cardiovascular diseases prevention.
