The dissertation focuses on the integrated study of compositional, stylistic, pragmatic characteristics and synergetic parameters of the German-language novel in their organic unity. The linguistic status of the German-language novel as a text type, which functions in the art discourse was determined. Evolutionary stylistic models of the German-language novel were separated to study the discourse of the German-language novel in diachrony. Pragmatics of studying the German-language novel in synergetic aspect is provided by the author's language world and extralingual factors.
