In the thesis the legal regulation of social security of prosecutors was fully studied. A general description of the legal status of prosecutors was given, the concept and content of the legal status of prosecutors were revealed, legal regulation of social security of prosecutors was analyzed. The essence of social security of prosecutors was proved. The mechanism of social security of prosecutors was described and the forms and measures of social security of prosecutors were presented. The measures of social security of prosecutors were revealed as ways to meet the needs of prosecutors, such as, for example, benefits, bonuses, pensions, spa treatment, medical care. The attention was paid to the current state of social protection of such workers and the experience of foreign countries in this sphere.
