Essay

Dissertation devoted to the synthesis of new functional and condensed 1,2,4-triazole -based on reaction of corresponding unsaturated derivatives with bromine, iodine, iodine bromide and tetrahalides of selenium and tellurium. It is shown that the use of halogens as cyclizative agents for 5-R-amino-1,2,4-triazole-3-thiones regioselectively leads to the formation of hydrohalogenide salts of N-substituted-6-halomethyl-5,6-dihydro[1,3]thiazolo[2,3-c][1,2,4]triazole-3-amines which can be easily transformed to the free base with alkalines.
