The dissertation is devoted to the theoretical, legal and praxeological principles of the criminal procedural guarantees of the defender as a subject of proving in the pre-trial investigation. The concept and the content of the defender proving in the pre-trial investigation are determined. It is substantiated that the defender proving in the pre-trial investigation as an informative-practical and mental activity has its external and internal structure. The concept of a defender as a subject of proving in the pre-trial investigation is formulated. The definition of the criminal procedural guarantees of the defender as a subject of proving in the pre-trial investigation is given and their types are determined. The concept of the mechanism of the criminal procedural guarantees realization of the defender as a subject of proving in the pre-trial investigation are proposed.
