Essay

Dissertation is dedicated to solve the task of improving the efficiency of the treatment of asthma in children with AD by improving its pathogenetic therapy considering FLG and the protein target of rapamycin (MTOR) gene polymorphisms. Proven predictors of asthma in children with AD are FLG and MTOR gene polymorphisms. Variants of the AA FLG genotype rs11204981 are 2.5 times more common among children with asthma and AD compared with healthy children. CC genotype of rs11121704 in the MTOR gene are 2.4 times more often occurred in healthy children than among patients with asthma and AD. It was found a statistically significant association between genotype of rs11121704 in MTOR gene, concomitant allergic diseases and elevated levels of total IgE in the blood. Protective role of heterozygous variant of FLG gene polymorphism was proven during analysis of the expression of FLG. Expediency of cholecalciferol addition in the treatment of children with asthma and AD with AA FLG gene polymorphism and TT MTOR gene polymorphism was firmly established.
