Essay

The thesis addresses the place and purpose of video surveillance in the law enforcement activities. International experience of video surveillance used by law enforcement agencies of the United States of America and Germany has been dealt with. Necessity to implement it in Ukraine has been proved. The concept of public administration tools has been dealt with. It has been proved that video surveillance is a real act of law enforcement agencies. Legal acts on regulation of video surveillance used by law enforcement agencies has been researched into. Their gaps have been identified. It has been proposed to adopt the Law of Ukraine On Implementation of Video Surveillance in Public Places.
