The research focuses on the English business discourse thematic aspect, in particular on thematic models that structure the content of this discourse. The paper provides the study of thematic models of English business discourse underlying hierarchical and linear content organization and actualizing in interaction with context-situational factors. The study is based on the principles of cognitive-discursive paradigm. Complex of applied methods includes: general scientific, informational and linguistic ones. The scientific novelty of the research is determined by cognitive-discursive grounding of thematic models as static and dynamic knowledge structures that organize English business discourse content. Theoretical significance of the paper is determined by its contribution to discourse analysis and text linguistics, to theory of dialogue/conversation analysis, cognitive and communicative linguistics. Practical value of the obtained results lies in the possibility to apply them in courses of discourse analysis, text linguistics, theory of dialogue/conversation analysis, cognitive and communicative linguistics; in general linguistics ("Language and thought"); in teaching English to students of economic specialties; in course "Translation as Intercultural Communication" and while studying economic translation. The results can also be useful for scientific research of students and post-graduate students.
