The thesis presents the theoretical and practical study of instrumentation for forensic examination of the audio recording equipment and audio records. It reviews the history of the development of phonoscopic examination (speech and audio analysis). It also demonstrates the correlation between the development of recording equipment and instrumentation for forensic examination.
