Bereza B. Microbiological substantiation of use of antiseptics for the treatment of gingivitis and periodontitis.

Object - patients with chronic generalized catarrhal gingivitis (CGCG), chronic generalized periodontitis (CGP); the impact of antiseptics on the microflora of the mouth; goal – microbiological substantiation of the use of antiseptics for the treatment of patients with CGCG, CGP; methods – information-analytical, microbiological, physical and chemical, X-ray study, mass-spectrometry, biochemical, statistical and analytical; results – scientific data concerning species representatives of the oral microflora, colonizing the mucosa of patients with CGCG were supplemented; monitoring of antibiotic and antiseptic sensitivity of microflora, received from patients with CGCG, was carried out for the first time and there was proved potentiating effect of small concentrations of decamethoxine® on the specific effect of antibiotics used in dentistry; the results of the study of susceptibility to antibiotics, decamethoxine®, dekasan®, horosten®, palisan®, chlorhexidine in museum and clinical strains of microorganisms, isolated from patients CGCG, are characterized by the novelty; for the first time therapeutic efficacy of drugs decamethoxine®, chlorhexidine, treating composition with decamethoxine® was proved in CGCG patients; the use of antiseptics decamethoxine®, treating composition with decamethoxine®, palisan®, chlorhexidine for treatment of patients was substantiated on the basis of clinical, microbiological data; branch – medicine.
