Egorova T. Protection of forests according to the legislation of Ukraine and the CIS countries: a comparative legal analysis.

The thesis is based on the study of the scientific literature, the norm-but-legal acts carried out a comprehensive study of historical and legal bases of formation and development of forest protection in the territory of Ukraine and CIS countries (the Russian Federation, the example of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Kazakhstan). The problems of the definitions of "legal protection of forests", "Legal protection of forests" in modern conditions. It is proposed under the "legal protection of forests" to understand set of stipulated rules of law measures aimed at the conservation of forests (forest territories), the rational and debilitating use, prevention of fires, illegal logging, damage, weakening, and other harmful effects, as well as violations in the field of management and use of forest resources. Theoretical conclusions are done, the row of problems, that need a decision and suggestions are set forth in relation to the changes of current legislation that will allow to improve the state of the legal protection of forests and improve forest management mechanism of resource in Ukraine.
